Gwen Evans
Hi I’m Gwen, I’m a first year trainee solicitor at a city law firm in London. I joined the It’s All Hearsay team in 2021 and have had the pleasure of watching the team grow over the years! I am now the Chief Brand Manager and I have always had an interest in social mobility and have sought opportunities to assist in these networks. In my free time I love travelling, trying out new workout classes around London and new restaurants!
Katelyn Groenewald
Hi, I’m Katelyn, a third year Law student at the University of Sheffield currently completing my year abroad at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece. As part of the content creation team for It’s All Hearsay, I work alongside Joanna and Megan to provide helpful resources for socially mobile candidates. Coming from a socially mobile background myself, this work is particularly meaningful to me and I hope to continue it throughout my career. In my free time, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, staying active and expressing my creativity.
Joanna Nassivila
Hi everyone, my name is Joanna. I’m a recent LLB Law graduate and I currently work as a Helpline Advisor. I found It’s All Hearsay on Instagram when I was in my second year of undergrad. I remember watching Megan’s reel on her career journey and found her starting years to be so relatable. I instantly followed and learnt so much just from her platform. I, therefore, applied for the mentoring programme and joined the Its All Hearsay Team in 2022 as a Creative Designer and Editor.
Smrita Sinha
Hi, I’m Smrita and a qualified advocate in India. I am now aspiring to qualify as a solicitor in the UK and I am currently pursuing the Post Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law. From my experience, especially in two jurisdictions, I understand that navigating the legal industry can be daunting and I hope to support other aspiring solicitors in their journey as part of the Events team at It’s All Hearsay Team.
Noor Din
Hi, I’m Noor and I am an Events Executive at It’s All Hearsay and a Paralegal based in London. I am from Lisbon, Portugal but I moved to the UK in 2018 for university and did my law degree at the University of Warwick. I also did a year abroad in 2020 where I spent half the year in Rotterdam and the other half in Berlin. I recently graduated and my ultimate goal is to qualify as a solicitor and so I am hoping to secure a training contract this year.
Sophie Etherton
Hi, I’m Sophie and I am an Events Executive at It’s All Hearsay and a Paralegal based in London. I completed my Law degree at Cardiff University, graduating in 2020, and later completed the LPC at the University of Law in 2022. I started volunteering as an Events Executive with It’s All Hearsay in September 2022 and have really enjoyed being a part of the team. Having grown up in South Devon, I enjoy spending most of my spare time getting outdoors, be it walking, running or heading back to the beaches of Devon for a long weekend.
Eleonora Sutkalne-Akmene
Hi, I’m Eleonora! I graduated with an LLB Law degree from the University of Sheffield in 2023. I am an aspiring solicitor and I currently work as a Litigation Paralegal in-house. I have been with the team as the LinkedIn Communications and Marketing Coordinator for over a year now and I have really enjoyed being part of such a proactive and passionate group of individuals, with a collective goal of helping socially mobile students! Outside of work, I enjoy long walks, going out for a coffee and catch up with friends, and trying new activities.

Hello, I am Nandani and I currently work as a Paralegal in Commercial Litigation. I found out about It’s All Hearsay page when I started my law conversion course and found the content very informative and helpful. This motivated me to join the It’s All Hearsay team where I assist with the LinkedIn content, as well social media logistics. My ideal way to relax is usually cooking and testing new recipes or delving deep into a book.
Sophie Woodhead
Hello! I’m Sophie. I studied History at undergraduate before going on to complete my MA Law Conversion at the University of Law. I came across It’s All Hearsay whilst studying for my conversion, and immediately resonated with Meg’s content. From study tips to advice on navigating training contract applications, It’s All Hearsay has been an integral part of my journey into law so far. Because of this, I was very happy to join the team this year as Project Manager/Team Coordinator, becoming part of an amazing group of people and working towards a more socially mobile legal industry.
Dara Antova Hi, I’m Dara, a final year Law student at Goldsmiths University of London. I joined It’s All Hearsay in August 2023 as part of the content creation team and facilitate the provision of informative and easily accessible resources for candidates. I have absolutely loved working alongside my team and I am grateful to be a part of such an amazing community. In my free time I love training at the gym, travelling and cooking new recipes.

Hi everyone, I’m Polina, a recent First Class law graduate from the University of Law. I’m a Senior Content Creator for It’s All Hearsay’s blog page. I currently work as a Property Recoveries Paralegal at an international law firm, dealing with insurance claims. I aspire to qualify as a solicitor and enjoy working alongside the wider IAH team to support aspiring lawyers from socially mobile backgrounds.
Caitlin Ogden
Hi! I’m Caitlin, I studied criminology at undergraduate, and I am now studying for an MA Law conversion. I am part of the Resources Team at It’s All Hearsay, working alongside Katelyn and Dara to create guides to help aspiring solicitors. It was through following social media accounts, such as It’s all hearsay, that helped aid my decision to convert to law, answering any questions I may have, and overall giving me more confidence and structure within my legal journey. I found that particular ethos of It’s All Hearsay aligned with my own values: advocating for social mobility within the legal profession, and providing support to those who wish to navigate a career in law.

Hi, I’m Amy, and I’m a member of the Social Media Comms team at It’s All Hearsay and a Legal Assistant based in Lincoln. I graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2022 with a degree in Philosophy and will start the Post Graduate Diploma in Law in September 2024, with my goal being to qualify as a solicitor. Hi! I am Priyanka, a final-year law student at the School of
